Barber training across Europe
Six months in the classroom and behind the chair. You learn the trade from barbers who cut every day, at one of 87+ partner barbershops across Europe, and you finish with a written and a practical exam in front of an external examiner.
Every practical exam is assessed by a master barber from outside the school.
Each certificate has a serial number and a code employers can check here.
The price you see is the price you pay for the whole programme.
You train on real clients in working barbershops, not on mannequins only.
The programme
The programme is built as a proper vocational course. 136 hours of theory on hygiene, hair and skin, tools, consultation and running a business. 464 hours of practice, where you cut, fade, trim and shave real clients under supervision.
Teaching happens in working barbershops, not in a lecture hall. You train at one of our partner barbershops, so you learn the trade the way it looks on a busy Saturday, not only on a training head.
Modules
Each module is completed when your instructor has signed off your hours and your work. You can follow along in the portal.

Exams
A two-hour written exam with 60 questions on hygiene, hair and skin, tools and client care. Pass mark is 70 out of 100.
Three hours behind the chair with two models: a classic scissor cut and a skin fade with beard work and a straight razor shave. Assessed by an external master barber who has not taught you.
If you do not pass the first time, you can retake the exam on the next exam date.
Certificate
Once both exams are passed, your certificate is issued with a serial number, hours, results and the examiner's name. You find it in the portal, can download it as a PDF, and any employer in Europe can look it up on barberacademyschool.com with the code printed on it.
How it works
We meet for half an hour in the salon. You tell us why you want to be a barber, and we show you what a day looks like.
You start with at most seven others and get access to the portal from day one.
24 weeks where theory and work behind the chair alternate every week. Your hours are logged as you go.
Written exam in week 22 and practical exam in week 24 with an external examiner.
The certificate is issued in the portal the same week both exams are passed.
Partner network
Our partners are established barbershops across Europe. Every partner teaches the same 13 modules, uses the same exam and is assessed by external examiners from outside the shop, so a certificate means exactly the same wherever you trained. Over 200 barbers have already completed the programme.
Become a training partner. You get a complete curriculum, exam material, the student portal and certificates, and we send you students. You provide the chairs and the barbers.
Price
For the full 600-hour programme. No registration fee, no exam fee, no surprises.
